Carson City Sheriff K9 Tico embarks on well earned retirement, Deputies welcome new pup Cash
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Fri, 12/03/2021 - 9:20amWe are happy to announce K9 Tico’s Retirement! Tico turned 10 years old in September this year, and he will now get to spend his golden years relaxing at home with his handler, Deputy Jimmy Surratt.
Tico’s service to this community began in April of 2016, and his official retirement date is December 2nd.
City election officials to speak at Monday's Democratic luncheon

She will be presenting a status report on the on-going process of redrawing precinct, ward and district maps in accordance with current law, the 2020 census data and the number of active voters. Assisting her will be Miguel Camacho-Reyes, Elections Department Chief Deputy.

DCSO investigates and finds nothing following bomb threat, clears Gardnerville Walmart to open

Northern Nevada Dream Center's 'Dream Christmas' to make mobile gift stops for those in need

Dream Center volunteers will be delivering Dream Christmas dinner bags, turkeys, hams, toys, coats, hats and gloves to locations throughout Northern Nevada starting this Saturday, Dec. 4. This year’s sites include:
