Carson City Senior Center to reopen Monday, May 3; volunteers needed

The Carson City Senior Center, located at 911 Beverly Drive, will reopen on Monday, May 3 with regular hours of operation, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

A 30-year-old man was arrested Monday for alleged multiple drug offenses and for being in possession of bank cards that were not his, according to a Carson City sheriff's booking report.

Carson City Senior Center boosts local vaccinations through community partnerships

The Carson City Senior Citizen's Center has helped boost vaccination numbers by hosting a weekly vaccination clinic for 450 people throughout March and April. In partnership with Smith’s Food & Drug and Immunize Nevada, vaccinating just over 100 people each week.
