Carson Tahoe Health looks for citizen participation in new patient, caregiver partnership council

CARSON CITY — The COVID-19 pandemic truly shook up our worlds, especially that of the healthcare industry. As a result, and to fully embrace its mission of enhancing the health and well-being of those it serves, Carson Tahoe Health is creating a Patient/Caregiver Partnership Council to garner thoughtful and constructive input from its community.

Nevada artists can apply through May 31 for inclusion on school resource roster

Nevada artists may apply through May 31 to be included in the Nevada Arts Council Artists in Schools + Communities Roster. The roster is a statewide, online resource for schools, organizations and communities seeking to engage artists who conduct educational and cultural experiences for students and community members.

Maddie’s Pet Adoption Days registration now open to eligible Nevada animal welfare organizations

Maddie’s Pet Project of Nevada is excited to announce that registration is now open for the Spring Maddie’s Pet Adoption Days being held Friday, June 11 and Saturday, June 12, 2021. Thanks to funding provided by the Dave and Cheryl Duffield Foundation, all adoption fees are being waived for dogs and cats at participating animal welfare organizations across Nevada during this two-day event.
