Carson Tahoe Health offers COVID vaccinations Friday for 65 and older, those in Tier 2 status

To sign up, email covidvaccine@carsontahoe.org. If you have a MyChart and were identified as an eligible patient to receive the vaccine, you will see a message in your ‘Health Reminder’ section on the homepage.
Carson High School students design book covers, earn contracts with publisher

Falciani, the pen name of Mr. Kinkade DeJoseph, a teacher at Bordewich Bray Elementary School.

Carson City Public Works does water fire flow testing Wednesday, discolored water reported

Public Works advises to expect temporary periods of discolored water in the areas surrounding the intersections of Ormsby Boulevard and West Washington Street; West Long Street and Andorra Drive; and West Sunset Way and West Washington Street.
Carson City, Quad County COVID-19 Wednesday briefing: 20 new cases, 61 recoveries

This brings the total number of cases to 11,414, with 9,570 recoveries and 209 deaths; 1,635 cases remain active.

Over 10 percent of those in Quad Counties have taken COVID-19 vaccine, surpasses statewide average
Submitted by Kelsey Penrose on Wed, 03/10/2021 - 1:50pmIn the Quad Counties that make up Carson City, Douglas, Lyon and Storey counties, 18,400 individuals have thus far completed their COVID-19 vaccinations, having received both first and second doses, which is equivalent to 10.9 percent of the overall population, statistics show.
Also noteworthy, 32,147 Quad County residents have begun the process of receiving their first dose, which is 19.06 percent of the overall population. This surpasses the statewide averages of 8.96 percent having completed the vaccination process.
