UNR to go fully remote after Thanksgiving break, spring break canceled due to COVID surge
Submitted by admin on Sun, 10/11/2020 - 12:47pmIn a letter to students, faculty and other university personnel Friday, UNR President Brian Sandoval announced the university would move to fully virtual instruction following the upcoming fall break, a move that comes as the university has averaged nearly a hundred new COVID-19 cases per week and as the flu season rapidly approaches.

COVID testing Tuesday in Yerington following high number of positive tests at assisted living facility

The testing will be at the new City Hall (Old National Guard Building) located on the corner of Main Street and East Goldfield Avenue.

Recent NV Energy rate changes bring lower bills to Northern Nevada customers

This is the fourth time this year that northern Nevada customers have experienced a rate decrease.
