In the spirit of our summer mural wall, the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City has assembled a “Thank you” wall facing King Street and invites the community to come by with a Sharpie or paints and write a message to anyone who has helped during this time.

Carson City, Quad area COVID-19 Monday update: 2 new Lyon County cases, 1 Carson City

Quad-County Emergency Operations Center in Carson City reports Monday, May 11, that there are three new positive cases of COVID-19 in the Quad-County region. This brings the total number of cases to 124, with 82 recoveries and two deaths, 40 cases remain active.
Carson City Sheriff's Office: Man accused of kidnapping, attempted sexual assault of girl remains in custody

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Carson City District Attorney, is releasing the photograph of Kahlil Deshaun Williams, born July 28, 1995. Williams, 24, remains in the Carson City Detention Facility on the charges of kidnapping, attempted sexual assault of a minor under 14, lewdness With a minor under 14, and false imprisonment. His bail remains at $250,000.

Body found near Jack Wright Pass in Douglas County identified as missing Colorado man

MINDEN — A Colorado man, reported missing in February of this year, has been identified as the deceased person found last month by a hiker northwest of Jack Wright Pass in Douglas County.
