Liquidation Store on Highway 50 East in Carson City to hold Sept. 27-29 soft opening

Initial sale dates are Sept. 27-29, 2019 in the industrial park next to Classy Seconds and across from the Goodwill.
Carson City emergency crews called to crash at Roop and William
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Mon, 09/23/2019 - 2:28pmCarson City emergency crews were called Monday afternoon to a vehicle crash in the area of Roop and William Street. It is unknown at this time if were were any injuries.
The crash happened at around 3:15 p.m. Traffic is being diverted around the crash. Motorists can expect delays.
Carson City Library recognizes Banned Books Week with letter-writing campaign

Along with libraries across the country, the Carson City Library is celebrating Banned Books Week (Sept. 22-28) with a special event to thank authors whose work has been prohibited or challenged.
