Obituary for Roger M. Laird

Roger was married to his high school sweetheart, Jean (Russell) Laird. They shared 56 years of marriage.

The revitalization of the downtown began in late 2015 with the advent of the "hashtag" CarsonProud promotion that was created to engage and inform locals what to expect as the city progressed with the plans for revitalization. Most of the downtown core has received the “make over” promised.

Youth Theatre Carson City to hold workshop, auditions for 'Shrek: The Musical, Jr.'

We are looking for actors, singers, and dancers grades K-12, who will be cast to play a host of colorful fractured fairytale characters!

Whenever I go back to my roots, I’m always reminded of the deep seedlings that exist here for me. These seedlings are connections made during my formative years, all the way back to kindergarten.

Carson City's Greenhouse Garden Center brings music, art and flowers together Saturday for 'Art Fest’

Weather Service: Thunderstorms developing throughout western Nevada

Dry weather and below average temperatures are expected for the weekend with gusty winds Friday and Saturday.
