Carson Creepy Short Horror Film screening and judging this Saturday

Competitors were given one week to make a short horror film between 5 and 8 minutes long.
Carson City arrests: Man jailed for embezzlement warrant, failure to register as sex offender
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Wed, 10/26/2016 - 1:13pmA 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested Tuesday in the 470 block of Clear Creek for felony suspicion of being a sex offender failing to register and warrants for failing to register in Lyon County, embezzlement and being a fugitive from justice, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
Carson City Fire Department: Opening burning with permit begins Sunday through Nov. 27

There is an optional meal for $10,and then a speaking presentation from Kate Marshall, former State Treasure and Elliot Parker, Professor of Economics, U of Nevada, Reno on "Women in the Workforce; Issues of Equity". A short business meeting will follow.
