Nevada State Lawmakers Relying On Political Action Committees In 2012 Election Contests

They are all political action committees formed or renewed by state lawmakers this year to help promote their parties, push their candidates and protect their ranks in an effort to maintain and/or win control of the Assembly and Senate.

The U10 CarsonNow.org Pink Diamonds earned another win over the HDR Killer Kiwis on Thursday 5/10/12 to bring their season record to 6-3.
The pitchers for the Kiwis were: Lilly Suina – 9 runs, 4 hits, 9 walks, 3 strike outs; Mackenzie Hogan – 10 runs, 1 hit, 12 walks, 2 strike outs; and, Kassidy Cooley – no runs, no hits, 1 walk, 3 strike outs. Gov. Sandoval, Japanese General Consul Participate In Cherry Tree Planting Ceremony
Submitted by Nevada News Bureau on Thu, 05/10/2012 - 5:09pmCARSON CITY – Gov. Brian Sandoval and Japanese Consul General Hiroshi Inomata participated in a cherry tree planting ceremony today on the state Capitol grounds.
The trees were donated to the state to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the planting of cherry trees in Washington, DC, that were donated by the people of Japan as a sign of friendship. The 3,020 cherry trees were presented to the people of the United States and were accepted by President William Howard Taft.

Lucky Gamblers Help Push Nevada’s Gaming Win Down In March
Submitted by Nevada News Bureau on Thu, 05/10/2012 - 1:57pmCARSON CITY – Nevada’s casino winnings took a tumble in March after two strong months in 2012, dropping 10.9 percent compared to March 2011, the Nevada Gaming Control Board reported today.
The decline was led by Clark County markets, including the Las Vegas Strip, which was down 14.9 percent over March 2011.
