WNC baseball pennet race depends on what happens this weekend
Now that the Western Nevada College baseball team has taken over second place in the Scenic West Athleitc Conference, one could say that the Wildcats find themselves in a pennant race.
But WNC coach D.J. Whittemore isn' ready to declare his team is in a pennant race, yet. "It kind of feels like were chasing a ghost," said Whittemore about College of Southern Nevada.
CSN has a three-game lead over WNC in the SWAC. CSN is 17-3 in the SWAC while WNC is 14-6. And Whittemore knows his team obviously can't control what the Coyotes do. "There's not much we can do about that," Whittemore said.
