What a week it was Carson City, and it isn't even over yet. Heading into Friday, May 3, 2019, we're looking at continued sunny skies and temperatures in the low 70s. There's a host of activities Friday and, looking ahead, a bevy of fun Saturday including a Mother's Day craft fair at the Carson City Community Center, a Star Wars themed bicycle safety day, a wine, cheese and dessert ride aboard the V&T, an early opening of the downtown farmer's market, the May Downtown Carson City Wine Walk, a memorial walk, presentations, comedy, live music and more. All Aboard: Carson Tahoe Health Auxiliary to host annual V&T Wine, Cheese and Dessert Train

The Carson Tahoe Health Auxiliary, in one of its most popular fundraisers, will host its 6th annual V&T Wine, Cheese and Dessert Train from Carson City to Virginia City on Saturday, May 4, 2019.

The special event train leaves the Eastgate Depot in Carson City at 10 a.m. and arrives in Virginia City at approximately 11:30 a.m. The train arrives back in Carson City before 4:30 p.m. Tickets are pre-sold, and guests are asked to be at the Eastgate Depot by 9:30 a.m.

Deadline nears for April 18 ticket to ride the V&T Wine, Cheese and Dessert Train

Tickets are going fast for the Sixth Annual V&T Wine, Cheese and Dessert Train, sponsored by the Carson Tahoe Health Auxiliary.

The V&T train event will be held on Saturday, April 18, departing Carson City Eastgate Depot at 10 a.m. for a trip through the Comstock to Virginia City. The train will return to Carson City at 4 p.m. Tickets are $70 per person. Your ticket includes: Wine, Cheese and Dessert to and from Virginia City.

Celebrate Spring with a trip on the V&T Wine, Cheese and Dessert Train

V&T Wine, Cheese and Dessert Train set for April 12

The Fifth Annual V&T Wine, Cheese and Dessert Train, sponsored by the Carson Tahoe Health Auxiliary, will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014.

The Train departs Carson City Eastgate Depot at 10:00am for a trip through the Comstock to Virginia City and will return to Carson City at 3:00pm. Tickets are $70.00 per person. Ticket includes: Wine, Cheese and Dessert to and from Virginia City, lunch in Virginia City, a shuttle to and from the Virginia City station to Main Street, plus other amenities.

It is time to welcome spring with a train trip, wine, food, and good friends aboard The V & T Wine Train, sponsored by the Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare Auxiliary! The train excursion will be held on Saturday, March 31st, departing Carson City Eastgate Depot at 10:00am for a trip through the Comstock to Virginia City. The Train will return to Carson City at 3:00pm. Tickets are $65.00 per person. Ticket includes: Wine, Cheese and Dessert to and from Virginia City. Lunch will be served at the Red Dog Saloon.
