Join Muscle Powered and our Parks and Recreation Department at the Silver Saddle Ranch for a presentation and trash mob. Kids will love the Carnival at Bordewich Elementary School, and it helps raise funds for a local Cub Scout Pack. Mark Twain Elementary is hosting their annual Color Run at Mills Park, just make sure to wear a white shirt.

Get ready for Halloween with your choice of pumpkin patches. Seeliger Elementary School is hosting theirs for the twenty-fifth year in a row. Take a trip on the V and T Steam Train at the Nevada Railroad Museum, actually take several trips. The annual Harvest Train event offers an all-day wristband that allows for as many rides as you’d like, in addition to museum admission. So many more fun activities are available to you, you’ll have to read on to see them all.

Don’t forget to leave non-perishable food by your mailbox: the annual ‘Stamp Out Hunger’ food drive is today. Take a gander at the whole list, there is plenty of stuff to do in the Carson City area this weekend.

The inspiration behind B4BC was a young woman named Monica Steward, co-founder of Bonfire, who at was diagnosed with breast cancer the age of 26 and passed away in 1996 at the age of 29.

The event will take place in the parking lot at the credit union’s Eagle Station branch, located at 451 Eagle Station Lane. Community residents are invited to drop off as much personal paper documentation they would like to safely destroy and recycle. Documents must be removed from binders, though attached staples and paper clips are acceptable.
