Carson City residents treat public servants to Sunday barbecue

Several leading residents of Carson City pooled their resources Sunday to treat local public service workers to a barbecue at Fuji Park.

The Reno-Tahoe Odyssey, a 178 mile relay, passes through Carson City on its way to Virginia City. A huge congratulations goes out to the Class of 2017; the Carson High graduates will get their diplomas today. A grand opening celebration for the new Shoe Tree Brewing Company, located next door to Carson Hot Springs Resort, has been scheduled for June 17 from noon to 10 p.m. at 1496 Old Hot Springs Road in Carson City.
