Legacy Christian Academy will be opening as an early childhood to 8th grade Christian school in Carson City in the Fall of 2022. Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval announced Wednesday that he will call the Legislature into Special Session beginning Monday, Oct. 10 at 8 a.m. to take on the potential for a stadium in Las Vegas for the Raiders football franchise.

Candidates for Carson City Mayor and State Assembly District 40 addressed a nearly full house of voters at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall Wednesday night during a candidate forum sponsored by the Carson City Chamber of Commerce.
