Live music, great food and community support played out in full Saturday at Brewery Arts Center at the Save our Sassafras fundraiser.

Something amazing is happening in our Carson City! Once again our community is rising up to help a neighbor in need.
As many of you may have heard a favorite, downtown restaurant, Sassafras is being forced to relocate. The word spread throughout our community and one question was being asked “how can we help?”
I had a chance to attend a meeting of volunteers from the community to help organize a benefit to help Save our Sassafras. I then asked Owner, Scott Owen Doerr, what he wanted people to know. This is what he had to say:
