Why You Need To Actually Hire a Buyers Agent
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Tue, 06/18/2019 - 1:15pmWhen you first start looking at houses to buy, you’re probably looking to find the best house possible…not looking for the best real estate agent possible.
It usually begins innocently enough…
Maybe you see a house online. So, you reach out to the agent with the click of the button. Or send a quick e-mail. Perhaps even pick up the phone to ask a few questions, or schedule a showing. Next thing you know, you’re being sent listings by e-mail, and going out to see houses with that agent.

Buying Versus Renting A Home…That Old Debate
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Wed, 08/08/2018 - 11:59amWhy would someone write an article on buying versus renting a home? What’s in it for the author of the article?
Why would you read one?
What is it you want to hear? Do you just want confirmation and justification for what you already believe and want to do? Or, are you looking to be convinced otherwise?
These are all good questions to ask yourself if you find yourself reading an article on whether it makes more sense to buy a home, or rent a house.
There are “reasons” to buy, and “reasons” to rent.
June Is National Homeownership Month, Here’s An Interesting Take On It
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Wed, 06/13/2018 - 12:00pmAre you aware that June is National Homeownership month?
Probably not. Because you’re too busy working to afford the home you live in, whether you rent it or own it.
Why should you care?
If you poke around and read anything you can find about it, you’re being urged to recognize and celebrate the benefits of homeownership.
That seems kind of a weird thing to ask you to do. Do you really have the time or care? What’re you supposed to do, throw a party? Sit alone and contemplate it? Invite some friends out for coffee and chat about it?
