The Foundation for Carson City Parks & Recreation (FCCPR) is holding a meeting to discuss interest in the community to form a group to support building and improving dog parks in Carson City. The meeting will be on Thursday, September 14, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Bonanza Room at the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William Street, Carson City.

Parks4Paws Bark Whine and Dine

Parks 4 Paws presents its 3rd Annual Bark Whine and Dine fun raiser event, Hosted by Mayor Bob Crowell. Featured events include food from Local's BBQ, microbrews, raffles, a silent auction and music by CHS Link Crew. Cost is $25 per person. Join the Pooch Plunge for Carson City dog park expansion

Parks 4 Paws, a nonprofit community group to develop designated dogs parks in Carson City, in conjunction with Carson City Parks and Recreation Department and the community pool will sponsor the second annual Pooch Plunge on Saturday, Sept. 18. Last year’s event was very entertaining to watch. It was debatable who had more fun – the dogs or their owners.
The event will held at the Carson Aquatic Facility Outdoor Pool, 841 N Roop St Carson City.

Parks 4 Paws to hold Bark, Wine and Dine at Fuji Park in Carson City

Parks 4 Paws will hold its annual Bark, Wine and Dine on Saturday, May 1, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Fuji Park Events Building, 601 Old Clear Creek Road, in Carson City. Mayor Bob Crowell will host the event.

Join Parks 4 Paws for an evening of food, drinks, dancing and fun. There will be live music and a silent auction. All proceeds go to Parks 4 Paws. For more information go to www.parks4paws.com.
