Unclaimed remains of 27 veterans to receive a military funeral in Fernley

September 22, 2017 - 2:00pm On Friday, Sept. 22, 2017 the remains of 27 veterans will finally receive the military burial and honor they were promised through their service in the U.S. Armed Forces. The service will be held beginning at 2 p.m. at the Northern Nevada State Veterans Cemetery, located at 14 Veterans Way, in Fernley, Nev. The public is invited to attend.

April 8, 2017 - 11:00am The Nevada Department of Veterans Services, in partnership with the Nevada Veterans Coalition, will host a "Remembrance Ceremony" at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada on Saturday, April 8 at 11 a.m.
