We provide VIN verifications for people bringing in vehicles from out of state; we do vacation checks for residents while they are traveling; we enforce handicap parking; and red tag and tow abandoned vehicles as needed.

The blood drive takes place at Healthy Communities’ offices at 209 Dayton Valley Road, Dayton, Nevada on Monday, Nov. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Groups Rally Support for Dayton Food Pantry

Dayton Food Pantry manager Alie Trier said, “This Thanksgiving we were so grateful for the hundreds of turkeys and hams, side items, and checks donated by the community. Now we even have enough to provide more than 500 more familes with spiral hams for Christmas. Thank you awesome community members!”

Happy, Healthy Halloween will be on Friday, October 26 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The community is encouraged to come in to Sierra Nevada Health Center to enter the drawing for the Nintendo Wii, pick-up healthy eating habits literature and healthy snacks. Nevada Health Centers promotes living an active lifestyle to improve overall health and to decrease obesity.
Keep Tahoe Blue Volunteer Weed Pull
