October 16, 2019 - 5:30pm There will be a Fat Tuesday Business Networking event at The Dayton Taphouse on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019. Normally we do our events on Tuesdays but the Dayton Taphouse is closed on Tuesdays, so we were willing to work with them since there are only a few restaurants in the greater Dayton / Moundhouse area who can accommodate a group.

Heading into Tuesday, June 18, 2019 we're looking at continued warming around the region with a daytime high around 91. Temperatures are expected to actually lower toward the end of the week. Events around town Tuesday include a Muscle Powered walk, hike and bike ride, yoga, exercises for the mind and body hosted by the Carson City Emblem Club, political gatherings, art activities and more.

As we head into Tuesday, May 21, 2019 there seems to be some debate brewing about the weather. Is the persistent series of cold weather systems normal or not? We spoke with a forecaster from the National Weather Service about it and he noted that everyone has an opinion. Some folks swear this happens every Spring, storm after relentless storm through the entire month of May. Some swear the month of May in western Nevada is usually sunny, in the upper 70s to low 80s and comfortable. Whichever you believe, go with it and enjoy. Here's what's ahead Tuesday:
