Happy Saturday, Carson City! We're going to have a warm day in the low 70s, so be sure to throw on your t-shirts which may be the last time this fall (barring the typical end of November inexplicable heat wave).
On the docket today we have the 30th annual Outhouse Races in Virginia City, a guitars and ukulele performance at the BAC, fundraisers, and more. Check out below to see what we've got going on for the rest of the weekend:

Heading into the weekend, there’s a bevy of activities around the Carson City region over the next three days. Events include the 30th annual Outhouse Races in Virginia City, American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event in Carson City, Fright Night at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, Oktoberfest at the Casino Fandango, the 26th annual 'Making a Difference' Golf Tournament and much more!
Mommy and Me networking event set for Saturday, Oct. 5 at Our Park in Dayton

October 5, 2019 - 10:00am There will be a Mommy and Me Networking event Oct. 5 at Our Park in Dayton. We are there to let the kiddos run around before the predicted wet winter takes hold. The event will run all day.
Local direct sales reps are invited to bring their businesses and kids to have a great day at the park. Locals who are interested in browsing are strongly encouraged to come and visit. Kids who are enjoying the not-so-hot temperatures are encouraged to get their parents to bring them to the park for the day!

It’s going to be a chili weekend, and that has nothing to do with the weather. The annual Chili on the Comstock Competition takes over the tiny town of Virginia City, including a saloon crawl Saturday and the hilarious ‘Fun with the Runs’ 5K. Families will have a hard time choosing between the Cops and Kids Open House and Safety Fair at the Sheriff’s Office and the ‘Kids to Parks’ Day activities at Silver Saddle Ranch. Keep reading, and I apologize in advance for throwing so many great options your way.
