CARSON CITY, Nev. — In Plain Sight Marketing LLC announces the addition of three new members to the Carson City based marketing and public relations agency. Sierra Davies, MBA, was added as a new an account manager, Pierce Baker as a public relations specialist and Elizabeth Pearson as a public relations coordinator.

WNC information director Anne Hansen earns career service NCMPR Petrizzo Award

The National Council for Marketing and Public Relations presented Anne Hansen, of Reno, Nev., the 2016 D. Richard Petrizzo Career Service Award at its annual conference here in March.
Named for a former NCMPR president who helped shape the organization in its early years, the Petrizzo Award honors an NCMPR professional for longtime accomplishments in college marketing and public relations.

Adam Plain, the former Insurance Regulation Liaison for the Nevada Division of Insurance, has joined Ferrari Public Affairs. Ferrari Public Affairs is a government and public affairs firm with offices in Reno, Carson City and Las Vegas.
National anti-bullying group to give May 10 talk in Carson City

Carson City will host a presentation on bullying by a Philadelphia-based nonprofit agency that works around the country with educators, parents and law enforcement.
Members of Teach Anti-Bullying, Inc. will discuss what many say is a national crisis affecting communities across the country. The Saturday, May 10 presentation, Bullying: The Silent Threat, will be presented from 10 a.m. to noon at the Brewery Arts Center, 449 West King Street, in Carson City.
