UPDATE: Organizers say due to an overwhelming response, the apple picking has finished as there are no more apples to sell. Organizers say they will bring the picking back next year.

Touched by Angels in Carson City hosts Saturday home and garden craft show

Touched by Angels in Carson City will host a Home and Garden Craft Show this Saturday at 205 East John Street. Celebrating its 9th year, the show runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be great food and a raffle. See the beautiful creations of 29 local artisans metal work, bird houses, local honey, jewelry and much more.

Seats going fast for Celebrity Chef, Harvest Dinner to benefit Carson City Greenhouse Project

Just seven tickets remain for the 11th annual Celebrity Chef & Harvest Dinner, to benefit The Greenhouse Project takes place Monday, Nov. 11 at the Governor’s Mansion, Nevada Room in Carson City. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Tickets cost $200 and must be purchased in advance; none will be sold at the door.

Events include the Silver State Art Festival at Fuji Park, suicide awareness walks in Carson City, a Celtic faire at Dangberg Home Ranch, the ninth annual Edible Pedal bike ride at Bowers Mansion, train rides in Virginia City and much more!

The early farmers market hosted by Due Sorella (Two Sisters) is up and running with spring produce ready for your table.

Located in the parking lot behind 202 N. Curry Street, the market will be open for business every Saturday through May 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Eyes On Carson City: Third and Curry Farmer's Market begins for 2017 season

June has arrived, and with it the start of the seasonal Third and Curry Farmer's Market, which runs all summer long now through September.

The weekly Saturday market attracts hundreds to the parking lot at Third and Curry Streets across from the Bob McFadden Plaza in downtown Carson City, drawing crowds from all around the Reno-Tahoe region.
