Leadership Academy of Nevada

Did you know that all Nevada students in grades 6-12 have access to award-winning teaching at Leadership Academy of Nevada (LANV)? On May 5, 2014, the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) recognized Williamsburg Academy with their Platinum Award for Best Practices in Teaching, the most prestigious award they bestow. Williamsburg Academy is an online private-school affiliate of LANV.

The mission of Leadership Academy of Nevada (LANV) is to prepare students to become principled leaders. Each semester students study and learn leadership skills and at the end of the year put the learned skills into practice through a three-week Leadership Block. An essential characteristic of a principled leader is providing service and all students are required to give at least two hours of service to their community.

LANV is an online charter school, funded by the great state of Nevada. We are "virtual," meaning that everyone can have access across the state!

After a successful first year, Leadership Academy of Nevada (“LANV”) is expanding and has added a limited number of seats for the 2015-16 school year. LANV focuses on developing principled leaders through delivery of a Liberal- Arts education via cutting-edge technology.
