School board trustee to speak at Monday's Democratic luncheon

July 1, 2024 - 1:00pm The speaker at Monday's Democratic luncheon will be Michael Walker, who has held the District 5 seat on the Carson City School Board for the past eight years. He was named board president in 2020, and in 2024 became board clerk. He has served on several committees, and as a Director on the Nevada Association of School Boards.
