Fritsch Elementary School 8-year-old 3rd grader Chloe Woodbury announced her state service project for the Children of the American Revolution, U.S. Flag retirement bins, at a dedication ceremony of the first bin placed at the Carson City Library and attended by Carson City Mayor Bob Crowell and other elected officials and featured in local news media and on Reno television.

Girl Scout Troop 1951 Flag Retirement Ceremony
Submitted by Carson Now Reader on Fri, 07/15/2016 - 2:06pmPlease join Girl Scout Troop 1951 at a Flag Retirement Ceremony to honor our American Flag. It will be held at the Fire Station on 777 Stewart Street, Carson City, NV beginning at 10:00am.
This event completes over 20 hours or work spent to earn their Bronze Award, the first of three major Girl Scout Awards. The ceremony will take about 30 minutes with refreshments following.
