April 20, 2021 - 5:00pm The Desert Research Institute Foundation presents the 31st Nevada Medal honoring world-renowned astronaut and explorer Dr. Kathryn D. Sullivan.
Titled “Sea, Earth & Sky: Celebrating the Spirit of Scientific Exploration, Discovery & Innovation,” the special, hour-long program highlights Dr. Sullivan’s remarkable career as an oceanographer, NASA astronaut, and administrator of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
