EAST MEETS WEST

Sierra Nevada Holistic Services (SNVHS) has been in business for the last 5 years. Until recently, the organization’s primary services were massage, energy work, and aromatherapy. The business owner, Andrea Felesina, has since become a dual board-certified family nurse practitioner. With a background in holistic/alternative practice, Andrea seeks to provide the communities of Northern Nevada with an east meets west approach to health care. In a comfortable home environment, Andrea sees patients in no rush pace so that effective communication and care is provided.

Music lovers can enjoy a musical event Feb. 21 at the Laxalt Auditorium, Reno where the renowned harpist Marina Roznitovosky of University of Nevada and renowned Veena player Chakrapani Singh on his Kachappi Veena will play a unique collaboration of Western and Indian Classical Music.

A beautiful sound of Harp and a melodious sound of Kachappi Veena will give a new dimension to the music world. A combination of harmony and melody will be accompanied by Peter Fairley on tabla. The event begins at 7 p.m.
