Obituary: Lynn Doyal

Lynn Doyal, 73, passed away October 14, 2020, with his wife Janis by his side at their home. Lynn was born in Turlock, California on May 8, 1947 to Jack and Elyse Doyal. He lived most of his life in Alpine County, California.

High Volume of Positive Covid-19 reported at assisted living facility in Yerington

Lyon County officials have been notified that an assisted living facility, Mason Valley Residence, in Yerington had a high number of positive tests for COVID-19.

It is reported that 34 out of 53 tests results were positive.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office will facilitate road closures and procession routes area graduates will take during high school commencement ceremonies through the Carson Valley this Saturday and at Lake Tahoe on June 19. Senator Square: Carson FFA competes, FBLA speaks and writing class launches online magazine

Capitol FFA traveled to North Valleys High School Feb. 1 in order to compete in the Northern FFA Zone Competition. CHS Agriculture Mechanics, Welding, and FFA Adviser and teacher Rebecca Glocknitzer said, "I know all of our students worked hard to prepare for Zone, and Mr. Mann and I are so proud of their efforts."
