The 4th annual Rocky Horror Picture Show event is coming back to Carson City with a bang at the Brewery Arts Center on Friday, Oct. 26, beginning at 6 p.m.

Hosted by the Proscenium Players, Inc and the Brewery Arts Center, the show is all ages, free and highly entertaining.

This is Proscenium Players, Inc. and Brewery Art Center's 3rd annual event, so come down and support your local theater community while having a great time.

“Heeere's Johnny!” The Shining returns to the big screen today at the Galaxy Theater, so get a jump on the weekends chills and thrills with some cult classic horror. For something much more family friendly, a Halloween Party at the Library includes fun crafts and a costume contest. Author Sandie LaNae of Thin Veil Investigators is the featured presenter tonight at Washoe Lake State Park. She’ll be discussing some of her discoveries in ‘Weird, Haunted Virginia City.’ A fun night of jazz awaits at Living the Good Life with Tom Stryker’s Impromptu. Proscenium Players, Inc., BAC bring original 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' back to Carson City

Let’s do the time warp again! This Friday night, Oct. 28 the BAC and PPI will celebrate the season with a screening of the original cult classic musical “Rocky Horror Picture Show” at the BAC Performance Hall. The event begins at 8:30 p.m. with costume contests and activities and the movie will begin at 10 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 18: Things to do around Carson City

Historic Dayton is the place to be. The Annual Dayton Valley Days and Railroad Days features a chili cook-off, pet parade, pinewood derby race, and much more. Join CASI at Riverview Park for the annual 5K9 walk/run and don’t forget to bring your pooch. The Edible Pedal is one of the most delicious bike rides around with 100, 50, or 10 mile courses. Classic Cinema Club presents Plan 9 from Outer Space

The Carson City Classic Cinema Club is a group of classic movie fans who present a film released prior to 1970, on the first Tuesday of each month, at Red's. Our mission is to raise funds to help provide tools and assistance to our youth who wish to study the arts.
