November Wine Walk, bike tour, craft fair and more highlight weekend events around Carson City

Heading into the weekend, there’s a bevy of events around the Carson City region. The November Gobble Wine Walk kicks off in downtown Carson City followed by a new “Paths and Pedals” bike tour. Sierra Lutheran High School is also hosting a Christmas craft fair on Saturday. Combined with live music and virtual events, there’s plenty of activity happening in the state capital! This brings the total number of cases to 1,999, with 1,783 recoveries and 29 deaths; 190 cases remain active.

Carson City area 2020 General Election results

Polls for Tuesday's Carson City General Election remained open after 7 p.m. due to a large, last minute crush of voters at the community center. Carson Now will post the results as they become available via the Carson City Clerk-Recorder's Office.

The Elections Department is reporting that 72 percent of registered voters in Carson City cast their ballots in the capital city, a significant increase from previous elections.
