Carson City parks foundation pick Friends of Silver Saddle, Cinderlite as 2020 Community Award recipients

FCCPR’s Board of Directors recently selected Friends of Silver Saddle and Cinderlite Trucking Corporation and Materials (Cinderlite) for this year’s Community Awards.
OUR Center to Honor Outstanding LGBTQ+ Community Efforts at ‘Milk Made’ Awards

Carson City Parks Foundation announces 2020's 'Volunteer of the Years'

Parks Foundation president, David Johnson, announced on Friday that the Foundation’s Board of Directors, continuing the Foundation’s practice of recognizing outstanding contributions in furtherance of Carson City’s parks, recreational facilities and open space, designated Sandy Osheroff as the “2020 Volunteer of the Years” at their December meeting.

Sesquicentennial Fair in Carson City highlight Nevada 150 events throughout August

Lake Tahoe planning agency community liaison Jeff Cowen honored by chamber
Submitted by Jeff Munson on Fri, 02/17/2012 - 5:31pmTahoe Regional Planning Agency employee Jeff Cowen was honored as the recipient of the North Lake Tahoe Chamber and Resort Association’s Employee of the Year Award for his outstanding work as TRPA’s Community Liaison.
“I was shocked and truly honored to receive this recognition,” Cowen said about the award. “I am lucky in my job because I get to inform the community about all the great work being done by TRPA staff. I know I share this award with them,” he said.
F.I.S.H. Have a Heart Community Awards Dinner
Submitted by admin on Thu, 02/16/2012 - 6:36pmFriends In Service Helping (F.I.S.H.) will honor local churches and pastors who played a critical role in the founding and development of the organization at their annual Community Awards Dinner on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 6 p.m. at the Carson Nugget. There will be silent and live auction items, including a 2011 Harley-Davidson 1200 Customer Sportster Cost valued at $10,000.
