Our guest speaker is Commander Bryan Heller, Ret. The charge for lunch is $25 per person and reservations are mandatory by Friday, Nov. 14, 2020.

Carson City museum nets $4,625 for COVID relief, continues fundraiser

Students go 'dough to dough' to raise $11K for Carson City's Eagle Valley Middle School

In total, the gross sales were equivalent to more than $15,597. The school earned about 70 percent of total gross sales, bringing the net total to $11,034. A total of 888 units were sold.

Since 1985, Carson City Toyota owners Dick and Mary Campagni have been committed to giving back to the community – for every car sold, a percentage always goes right back into the Northern Nevada community.

Quad County, Carson City COVID-19 Wednesday briefing: 1 death, 24 new cases, 9 recoveries

The individual was a Douglas County resident. CCHHS is also reporting 24 new cases and 9 additional recoveries of COVID-19 in the Quad-County region. This brings the total number of cases to 1,961, with 1,760 recoveries and 25 deaths; 176 cases remain active.

Carson City area 2020 General Election results
Submitted by editor on Tue, 11/03/2020 - 8:05pmPolls for Tuesday's Carson City General Election remained open after 7 p.m. due to a large, last minute crush of voters at the community center. Carson Now will post the results as they become available via the Carson City Clerk-Recorder's Office.
The Elections Department is reporting that 72 percent of registered voters in Carson City cast their ballots in the capital city, a significant increase from previous elections.

Douglas election worker tests COVID-19 positive, county says election won't be affected

Douglas County has worked closely with Carson City Health and Human Services on contact tracing related to the positive case.
