Volunteers still needed for Carson High School Safe and Sober Grad Night

June 3, 2023 - 8:30pm A tradition since 1988, Carson High Safe Grad was started by the community following a series of alcohol-related graduation night incidents and deaths. Safe Grad is an all-night graduation party held at the Carson City Community Center celebrating students completing their education while also preventing the use of alcohol and drugs, including drunk driving.
Once inside the Community Center, graduates enjoy free, fun and safe entertainment, music, and food. The next morning, there is an optional (fee based) round trip to California Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.

Register to run, walk, stroll or roll in the 11th Annual Safe & Sober 5k Fun Run/Walk. All are welcome to the April 1 event. Go here to register.
Don't forget to dress up for best costume contest. Race location this year will be the Korean War Veterans Memorial Park (600 Marsh Rd, Carson City) with medals presented to our top finishers.
