Carson City Republican Women will hear candidates running for local offices in the June primary at their upcoming meeting Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 12 noon.

Carson City Republican Women will hear Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske via a virtual meeting on Tuesday, April 21 at 12 noon. Secretary of State Cegavske will address, at the request of every County Recorder due to the Coronavirus, the need to make our upcoming primary an election by mail-in ballots.

Carson City Republican Women will hold their February meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 18 at Casino Fandango. The guest speaker is Dan Reid, Western Regional Director, NRA Institute for Legislative Action.

Carson City Republican Women's Club will hold its first meeting of the year on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Casino Fandango. The guest speaker is GOP Assemblywoman Dr. Robin Titus who will address the issues facing rural and urban Nevada as the remaining new laws that were passed in the last session go into effect.

Social hour begins at 11:00 a.m. and the lunch meeting at 11:30 a.m. Reservations are required by Friday, January 17 and can be made by EVITE, by contacting Lori at 775-220-3646 or by calling Gale at 775-241-2054. The cost for the lunch is $25.00/person.

The upcoming Carson City Republican Women's Club meeting will have Nevada State Senator James Settelmeyer as the guest speaker.

The meeting will be held in the Casino Fandango ballroom on Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Social hour begins at 11:00 a.m. and the meeting/luncheon at 11:30 a.m.

Michael J. McDonald, Nevada State Republican Party Chair, will be the guest speaker at the upcoming Carson City Republican Women's Club meeting on Tuesday, June 18, 2019.

Every year Carson City Republican Women offer a $2000 scholarship to a graduating senior from the greater Carson City, Moundhouse and Dayton areas.

The 2018 Installation Dinner for the Carson City Republican Women's Club will be held Tuesday, Dec. 18 at the Casino Fandango Grand Ballroom. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. with a sit down dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for this event are $40 each which include appetizers, salad, entree of salmon and a beef filet, vegetables, dessert and choice of beverages. There will be a cash bar available.

On Tuesday, March 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Casino Fandango we are pleased to hear from Sharron Angle for U.S. Congress, Adam Laxalt for Governor, Jared Fisher for Governor, Bob Beers for Treasurer, Craig Mueller for Attorney General, Ben Kieckhefer for NV State Senate and Carol del Carlo for Board of Regents.

Honoring our Veterans is the theme for the Tuesday, November 21st meeting of the Carson City Republican Women's luncheon held at the Carson Nugget. Our guest speaker is John Yuspa, Founder and CEO of Honor Flight Nevada.

Any senior female residing in the Carson City or Dayton area who will be attending a trade, 2 year or 4 year college/university may apply for this scholarship. She may be attending public, private, charter or home schooled. If the applicant is under 18 years old, at least one parent must be a registered Republican. If the applicant is 18 or older, she may be the registered Republican.

The completed application is due in the counselor's office on the 8th of March.
