Reno Jazz Orchestra Brings the Funk of James Brown to Town

James Brown brought his funk to America with his hit Cold Sweat and the Reno Jazz Orchestra (RJO) brings the funk to the Nugget’s Celebrity Showroom, Saturday, February 27th, to celebrate their new CD “Bring Me The Funk of James Brown”.

This high energy night on the town will feature the Reno Jazz Orchestra’s 18 piece big band and special guest stars performing James Brown hits such as Living in America, The Big Payback, and Cold Sweat, as well as other funk greats such as Tower of Power’s What is Hip and Soul Vaccination.
