He will speak about creating “grief friendly schools” that are equipped to be supportive of children and teens who are dealing with loss.
The public is invited to attend the breakfast meeting, which begins at 9am at the Silver Springs Community Center.

The annual NNNOA awards ceremony took place on Friday, May 6, 2016, in recognition of extraordinary nurses in Northern Nevada and their invaluable contributions to patients, each other, and the nursing profession. Fourty-six Carson Tahoe Health nurses were nominees, and four nurses received NNNOA awards.

Perfecto Manuta, a Readjustment Counseling Technician with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, coordinates the Mobile Vet Center, an outreach on wheels for the Reno Vet Center.
