Carson City Kiwanis hosted the 7th Annual Pancreatic Cancer Golf Tournament and Carson City Bench Press Championships at Silver Oak Golf Course Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020. The sold-out event resulted in 140 golfers teeing off and 9 weightlifters bench pressing to raise over $10,000 for Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and over $3,000 for the Marilyn Elaine Scholarship.

CARSON CITY – Nevada policy holders recovered nearly $4 million in 2012 from insurance companies through the efforts of the Nevada Division of Insurance.
A recovery is the amount of monetary compensation or relief received by a consumer as a result of a filed consumer complaint against an insurance company. The division recovered $3,998,508.
