Carson City's downtown Curry streetscape project will wrap up ahead of the Nevada Day parade with a ceremonial ribbon cutting ceremony Friday, Oct. 26 followed by the third annual Passport to Downtown celebration.

October 26, 2018 - 10:30am Kick off the Nevada Day weekend, enjoy all the Downtown Carson City has to offer and celebrate the completed Curry Street Improvement Project on Friday, Oct. 26 with live music, street performers and family fun while you get your free Passport stamped at participating, downtown businesses.
Redeem your Passport for raffle tickets. The more businesses you visit, the more raffle tickets you will earn.
More than $5,000 in prizes will be given away.

It’s that time again. The Battle Born state celebrates its admission to the United States on the last Friday of October, with the annual Nevada Day parade on Saturday. New this year is a ‘Passport to Downtown’ event on Friday. Also new this year is the one-night-only curated art show, Capital Collage, on Friday night featuring over 20 diverse artists and organizations.

October 27, 2017 - 11:00am The Downtown Carson City Business Association is hosting a celebration to showcase businesses from William Street to 5th Street and as well as kicking off the Nevada Day weekend right. This party will be on Friday, October 27th, starting at 11am with live music, food, drinks, art, street performers and a family fun center that includes bounce equipment and a petting zoo.

October 29, 2017 (All day) It’s time for the Nevada Day Weekend celebration! Then, it’s “Sunday, Bloody Mary Sunday” on Oct. 29 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. where several Northern Nevada mixologists will compete for a trophy and bragging rights for the Best Bloody Mary.
The Arlington Event Center will also host a Craft and Vendor Fair from Oct 27 to Oct. 29. Join the party across from the Carson Nugget Casino in Carson City for an action-packed weekend!

October 28, 2017 (All day) It’s time for the Nevada Day Weekend celebration! On Saturday, Oct. 28, watch the famous Nevada Day Parade, then head over to “Brewfest 2017!” where you’ll be able to try a variety of different beers from around the world.
Pat Travers will also be performing live at the Carson Nugget for two shows at 7PM and 9PM.
The Arlington Event Center will also host a Craft & Vendor Fair from Oct. 27-29.

October 27, 2017 (All day) It’s time for the Nevada Day Weekend celebration! This year the celebration starts with a party on Friday, Oct. 27 with FREE live entertainment in downtown Carson City across from the Carson Nugget. Hours for the event are from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will support local charities like Advocates to End Domestic Violence and F.I.S.H.
The Arlington Event Center across from the Carson Nugget will also host a Craft & Vendor Fair from Oct. 27 to Oct. 29. Join the party across from the Carson Nugget Casino in Carson City for an action-packed weekend.
