Annual Crab Feed

The Carson City Host Lions are pleased to announce the 22nd Annual Crab Feed will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 at the Pavilion in Fuji Park, Carson City, Nevada, beginning at 6 p.m. Tickets are $75 per person and may be purchased by calling Lion Tim Kniffen at 775-430-1083 or Lion Terry Rubald at 775-720-9005.

This event marks the 18th year for St. Teresa of Avila Catholic School's annual Crab Feed, bringing the community and surrounding areas together to support St. Teresa of Avila Catholic School in Carson City, educating kids from grades K-8 and providing preschool and pre-K programs in its Child Development Center.

The 2020 Carson Lions Club Annual Crab Feed is being postponed from March 27 to a new date of June 26, 2020 due to coronavirus concerns. For additional information contact Sam Herceg at 775-721-9947.

This weekend calls for a celebration, because the first Saturday of March is upon us and that means the Carson City Downtown Business Association Wine Walk come rain, snow, wind or shine. And get this: Today's Wine Walk is the last one before Spring.

Not only is Friday the first day of March in this 2019 calendar year but it is also the end of the work week. And for this we say welcome to a month that brings us the Downtown Carson City Wine Walk, which is this Saturday, NCAA basketball playoffs, St. Patrick's Day celebrations and the first day of spring. While we look forward to these future events, there's plenty of activities lined up for today. Read on and find out more.

St. Teresa of Avila Catholic School will be holding its 16th Annual Crab Feed Fundraiser on Saturday, March 2, 2019, beginning at 5 p.m. at The M.A.C., 1860 Russell Way, Carson City.

Catering provided by Liberty Events & Catering. There will be dinner, dancing, raffle prizes, silent and live auctions. Tickets available now and are $75 per person and can be purchased online or at the school's front office. The school is located at 567 S. Richmond Street, Carson City.

The Carson City Host Lions Club 20th Annual Crab Feed is happening on March 1, 2019 at the Fuji Park Pavilion. The donation is $55 per ticket and gets you into the "all you can eat" crab extravaganza. Raffles, auctions, music and dancing will also be part of the festivities. This event helps fund many services and projects supported by the Carson City Host Lions Club. For tickets to this event, call Sam at 775-721-9947.

Fingers crossed, we’ve got a few days without the wet stuff. This winter seems like the song that never ends. We received late word that Saturday's monthly Trash Mob has been canceled. The good news is there's a day-long music fest at the Carson Colony Gym on South Curry is fundraising for the DAPL Water Protectors. Music, art, cinema, comedy and more are on tap for this weekend. Got kids? The Boys and Girls Club is where you want to be today for the Second Annual Early Childhood Expo. Curious George and Clifford the big red dog can’t wait to say hello. Take a trip out to the Dayton State Park to search for animal tracks and more with a park ranger. If you’re kid free today, then the Downtown Business Association Wine Walk is for you. The young and the young-at-heart will find something fun to do this weekend: just check out the whole list for your options and hit the town.

The spring thaw has begun, and the event listing for the next few days is proof. There are quite a few options for music, art, theater, and more. Downtown offers live music at Westside Pour House and Bella Fiore, comedy at the Carson Nugget, and an Art Show for Carson High Senior, Erica Murray, at the Brewery Arts Center. Living the Good Life and Glen Eagles have dinner music for you. An afternoon treat is best found at Yogurt Beach: all proceeds help the family of three year old Maya Morrison battling leukemia. Surf and Turf will be featured at this year’s 13th Annual Crab Feed scheduled for Saturday, March 5, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William Street.

This wildly popular annual dinner supports the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic School in Carson City, educating kids in grades K-8 and providing preschool and pre-K programs in its Child Development Center.

Please join us for this exciting night of dining, music, dancing and fundraising at the 17th annual Carson City Host Lions Club annual Crab feed. This is our largest event for raising money for many of the community groups in Carson City. All 400 tickets are sold in advance. Don't wait until the last minute to get yours.

Dinner includes all the crab you can eat, plus BBQ tri-tip, BBQ chicken, salad, garlic bread, and ice cream for dessert at the Fuji Park Events Building on Old Clear Creek Rd.

No host cocktails at 6:00 PM, dinner served at 7:00 PM and live band with dancing 8:00 PM until 10:00 PM.
