Tonight’s show is going to be a fantastic display of dance routines from Ayako’s Dance Studio, acrobatic routines from Silver State Gymnastics, and circus acts of aerial silks, pole and lyra from Yaple’s Ballroom.

Youth Theatre Carson City will feature its production of Disney’s "The Little Mermaid, Jr." beginning this Friday and running weekends through August 4, 2019 in the Bob Boldrick Theatre at the Carson City Community Center.

From classic literature to the Academy Award-winning film and Broadway musical, Ariel’s undersea journey is a beautiful love story for all ages. In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home — and her fins — behind and live in the world above.

Want a new kind of work out? Come to Ninja Status! Your acrobatic crossfit fitness class. It includes a great workout to cover all those hidden muscles and help you loose weight! Chinese pole, silks, cardio boxing and kickboxing, handstands and more. Each mixes it up to get your the workout you need and help you accomplish your fitness goals. Class is taught by professional pole competitor, circus producer, and martial art champion, Ben Pierson.
Class is just $10 to drop in! Class is every Monday at 7 pm & Wednesday at 5 pm!

Nick Meyer, operations director for The Union Carson City, presented Courtney Warner, executive director for the Carson City Senior Center, with a check for $400. The Union provided beverage service for last month’s Carson’s Got Talent fundraiser benefiting Meals on Wheels Carson City.

Aerial Silks Class is now available in Carson City!

The class is held Fridays at 5:30 p.m. at Yaple's Ballroom Dance Studio, located at 315 N. Carson Street in Carson City.

Cost is $15 per class. Both males and females ages six and up are welcome!
