Happy (almost) New Year Carson City! Let's see what's happening in the region to ring in 2023 this weekend.
Saturday, New Year's Eve
- Carson City
Capitol City Gun Club hosts December Fun Shoots
On Dec. 31, Capitol City Gun Club in Carson City will host their New Year’s Fun Shoot from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Target fees will be discounted both days. The Club is located at 3590 Arrowhead Drive in Carson City. Everyone is invited to come.
Carson Comedy Club headliners to ring in New Year's Eve with two shows and all the laughter
Carson Nugget in downtown Carson City will ring in New Year's Eve with comedy that will keep you rolling with laughter to start 2023.
Headliners Kathleen Dunbar and Steve Barkley will take the stage at the Carson Nugget's Comedy Club, with two Saturday, New Year's Eve shows at 6 p.m. and again at 8 p.m. Brian Lee is the emcee.
Nashville Social Club Carson City
Nashville New Year’s Eve, a night you will never forget! Enjoy a prix fixe 3-course meal cooked up by our Executive Chef, Tony Schafer. Enjoy live music from The Jennifer Grant Trio on the Soft Note Stage! Raise a glass of complimentary champagne as Nashville Social Club’s owners, John and Kitty, toast to an amazing 2023 and usher in a very happy new year! Brewery Arts Center's Rock and Pinball Exhibit
The Brewery Arts Center will be open New Years Eve from 8-Midnight for Rock & Pinball Exhibit from The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Adult beverages will be available, and each pinball machine is only a quarter to play! Open to all ages. The exhibit leaves to return to Cleveland on Jan. 2.
New Year's Eve Part at the Feisty Goat
'We Rhyme With Orange' will be playing live at 7 p.m., and there will be free food, free 2023 accessories, games with a chance to win prizes, and a free champagne toast at 8:59 p.m. for the early birds and again at 11:59 p.m.
New Year's Eve at the Blue Bull with DJ G. Trillib
The Blue Bull will be hosting a New Year's Eve celebration from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. with a champagne toast at midnight. Music by DJ G. Trillib.
Black Light New Year's Eve part at Jimmy G's
A black light party will kick off at midnight at Jimmy G's Cigar Bar with music by DJ Eydol beginning at 10 p.m.
New Year's Eve at Carson Cigar Company
The Cigar Bar will be hosting a New Year's Eve party with party favors and appetizers, and a champagne toast at midnight.

9th annual New Year’s Eve Candlelight Labyrinth Walk
Join us for our 9th Annual New Year’s Eve Candlelight Labyrinth Walk on December 31, 2022. We will have fire pits to stay warm and hot cocoa/cider for the whole family. We recommend you bring your own chairs, cups, and marshmallows.
Why walk a Labyrinth on New Year’s Eve? It’s a time to create hopeful tomorrows. Labyrinths are used throughout the world as a way to quiet the mind, recover a balance in life, meditate, gain insight, reduce stress, to create and celebrate.
The Labyrinth, located at Heritage Park Gardens at 1461 Ezell Street, is a project of Main Street Gardnerville in cooperation with the Town of Gardnerville.

Head down to the Red Dog Saloon with Deception playing at 8 p.m. to celebrate the New Year.
Come spend New Years Eve with your favorite bartenders, drinks, and live acoustic music by Carson Chandler! We’ll be enjoying the evening before the big countdown with some good friends and good country and western music. Y’all come on down, don’t miss out!

KRD Rocks The Dayton Taphouse on New Year's Eve
The KRD and Seagoat will be providing the entertainment at The Dayton Taphouse New Year's Eve, starting at 6:30 with Seagoat performing until 9:30, and then The KRD start rocking you through the New Year. There will be $1 off any draft beer, and if you buy one entree you will get $1 off a second one.
- Lake Tahoe
NYE Family Celebration at Palisades Tahoe
Join us for our New Year’s Eve Family Celebration! We will kick off the evening with an LED Torchlight Parade along with fireworks and a free concert from The Nomads. The parade will start at 5pm on Exhibition. The Nomads will play from 5-7pm in Olympic House with fireworks at 7pm! A live DJ will play in Plaza Bar from 7-9pm, with the East Coast Balloon Drop at 9pm

The Capital City Arts Initiative’s exhibition, "Chinoiseries", presents Gwaylon Leaf’s paintings that use a visual language synthesized from Taoist coded language and symbols.
