Carson City road report for week of Dec. 10-17, plus street closures for Living Nativity
Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Dec. 11-17, 2023. Closures are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
The following street segments will be closed for the Living Nativity, presented by the First United Methodist Church, happening Sunday, Dec. 10 and again on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 16-17 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
— Division Street between Telegraph Street and King Street
— King Street (in the eastbound direction) between Minnesota Street and Division Street
— Minnesota Street between King Street and Telegraph Street
— Musser Street between Phillips Street and Nevada Street
— Proctor Street between Minnesota Street and Division Street
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
5th Street between Carson Street and Plaza Street will have shoulder work, which began Monday, Dec. 4, 2023 and will last to through January from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
— College Parkway between Research Way and the I-580 Off Ramp will have shoulder work, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
— Trucks will be entering and exiting the road at Edmonds Drive, Colorado Street, Koontz Drive, Clearview Lane, and Livermore Lane all week for construction of the new multi-use path.
— Please use caution in these areas. Edmonds Drive and Clearview Lane will have flagger control with one lane traffic, Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Construction will continue for the next few months.
— Washington Street between Phillips Street and Minnesota Street will have shoulder work, Tuesday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
— William Street between Humboldt Lane and Gold Dust West Way will have shoulder work, Monday through Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m..
