Carson City mobile DJ brings high-tech game show dynamic to events and parties

Carson City sound system DJ Justin Thistle is now featuring a new interactive mobile event called “The Incredible Game Show” that he hopes will become all the rage at events and parties for his clients.
Thistle owns and operates the mobile company Justincredible DJ Entertainment covering Carson City, Lake Tahoe and Northern Nevada. His new technology follows the authentic stylings of popular television game shows such as “Jeopardy,” “Family Feud,” “Minute to Win It,” and “Who wants to be a Millionaire?”
Always motivated to bring new dynamics, lighting, music and sound sets to party functions, "The Incredible Game Show" was a perfect fit for his business, he said. The contestant podiums are designed with the same hardware and software used in national television shows. Set up is easy and can be staged anywhere.
“I did it to give everyone the opportunity to be apart of it. I love to bring people together, doing something new, different, fun, and interactive,” said Thistle. “I used to watch the ‘Price is Right’ when I was a kid. The contestants would lose their minds with excitement. I knew I wanted to bring that feeling out in everyone.”
Fully mobile and suitable for all ages, the technology features questions along with video and audio that are programable to match the event.
“If we are set up at a school and want all the questions to be focused around the curriculum we can easily modify,” he said. “There is no limit to what can be accommodated.”
On Saturday night, Thistle brought his mobile outfit to the Carson Nugget where he was hired to do the Christmas party for Carson Medical Group. So along with his music system and dancing, his main event attraction was the game show. Contestants were shown video blueprints of the challenges prior to competing and then they were off with five games of “Minute to Win It.”
“It was very well received. They wanted more. It was laid out perfect, a lot of hand shakes and high fives,” he said.
Thistle hopes to have "The Incredible Game Show" featured at every event he’s hired to do.
“The buzz has been terrific. I am taking bookings for all events now,” he said. “It's time for people to have more to do at parties where everyone can participate. What better attraction than being on a game show,” he said.
