Carson City authorities arrest woman for throwing rocks at car
A Carson City woman faces misdemeanor charges of property destruction and violation of bail conditions after she allegedly threw rocks at a vehicle, breaking a windshield.
Officers were dispatched to College Parkway and Emerson Drive for a report of a woman without any clothes on who had a stick and was hitting various objects, according to the arrest report.
Upon arrival deputies had cuffed the woman in question, who was acting erratic and insisting that she be called by a different name, the report states. The woman was wearing a T-shirt and shorts and a pair of boots. The resident of the home told officers the boots belonged to her and not the woman wearing them.
As deputies escorted the woman to the patrol vehicle, another woman stepped forward and identified herself as the woman's father-in-law's girlfriend and that the woman with boots, T-shirt and shorts is living with them, according to the report.
The father-in-law's girlfriend told officers that the suspect began "freaking out and throwing things" inside the apartment and then took her screaming outside where she chucked rocks, hitting her car and breaking the windshield, the arrest report states. The woman filed a citizen's arrest form.
A computer check of the woman showed she is on Alternative Sentencing with conditions to "obey all laws, take medications as prescribed and no alcohol." The woman told officers she had been drinking. She refused to take a Preliminary Breath Test. Alternative Sentencing informed the arresting officer that it wanted the woman charged with violation of bail conditions, the arrest report states.
The woman was taken to jail and booked where she was uncooperative with jail staff, according to the arrest report. Bail was set at $3,000.
