Carson City area casino gaming revenue climbs nearly 3.3 percent in October
Casinos in Carson City, Minden, Gardnerville and other areas of Douglas County except for Stateline at Lake Tahoe took in $9,123,456 in gaming revenue for the month, or an increase of 3.27 percent over October 2017.
Statewide, Nevada’s nonrestricted gaming licensees reported a total “gaming win” of $1,062,795,796 for the month of October 2018. This amounts to a 7.47 increase compared to October 2017.
At north shore Lake Tahoe, casinos saw a dramatic increase of 18.69 percent in October, reporting gaming revenue of $2,235,615.
At south shore Lake Tahoe, gaming revenue was $17,059,424 for the month, or an increase of 3.62 percent.
Reno area casinos saw a decrease of 2.70 percent, while casinos in Sparks saw an increase of 5.36 percent.
