Carson City local Molly Otto wins big on The Price is Right 'Showcase'
UPDATE: Molly Otto of Carson City was the showcase winner on the Price is Right game show that aired Wednesday, taking home cash and prizes valued at $49,647.
As a contestant, Molly was able to play that got her to win a new motorcycle. It was here that host Drew Carey asked where Molly was from. She replied, "Nevada, Carson City," which brought out cheers.
Molly stated her fiancé rides motorcycles. Carey seemed to know about the Northern part of the Silver State when he said motorcycle trail riding in Northern Nevada was "prime." Molly won the motorcycle, then took a spin on the "Big Wheel" giving a shout out to her parents and fiancé.
In the final round, she came closest to the actual value of the showcase, which featured a home theater, free ice cream for a year and a trip to Barcelona, Spain. In case you missed it, you can stream the episode here to watch from anywhere on your own time!
