Douglas County Sheriff's Office investigates suspicious death
On Tuesday, November 15th, 2011, at approximately 11:00 am, deputies of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a home in the Topaz Ranch Estates residential area of south Douglas County, regarding a suspicious death/possible homicide.
Details of the investigation cannot be revealed at this time; however detectives from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s help in locating a person of interest in this incident.
The person of interest is identified as 38 year-old Jeanine Mona Escandon.
Escandon is described as: female, approx 5ft-6in tall, approx. 105 lbs, thin build, brown eyes, with medium length brown hair. Escandon has false front teeth.
Escandon is believed to be driving a maroon-colored 1990 Chrysler Imperial 4dr sedan, bearing Nevada personal license plate# F1NEV.
