Salvation Army hosts Christmas job fair this Thursday
The Salvation Army will host a job fair this Thursday, Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon at its Family Services office: 661 Colorado St. Carson City.
The Salvation Army, which serves Carson City and Douglas County, will hire seasonal workers to help with their holiday programs such as Thanksgiving food drives, Christmas food drives, Angel Tree Christmas Toy distribution and their annual Red Kettle Campaign. One warehouse assistant, Two drivers, and several kettle workers are needed. Bring a resume, two forms of legal identification and references (current DMV print out for drivers) Thursday, November 12th, and be prepared to be interviewed on the spot.
Job Fair will be held at The Salvation Army, 661 Colorado St. Carson City, south of Fairview off of Roop Street.
The Salvation Army serving Carson City and Douglas County will serve more than 4000 individuals this holiday season with both Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for families and toys for children and gifts for shut in seniors as well.
